First used by Benedictine monks in the 12th century, the Priory Centre is now a community hub. Its historic architecture and central location
make it an ideal venue for community groups, parties or other events.
It is also known by many of the local community as the former home of the St Nicholas Priory School. Old Priorians are warmly invited to look around their old school building and we have set up a Facebook group with details of forthcoming reunions and other news.
Browse our Priory Programme or visit our What's On page to find out what's on and for more information about the weekly activities available at the Priory Centre. Contact details for all groups and services are given in the programme.
We also run a special weekly timetable of services and activities for expectant parents and families with children under 8 at venues across Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Hopton. For further info browse our Children's Centre Programme.
