Have you tried the Community Lunch at the Priory? It's prepared by volunteers for other members of the local community from nutritious recipes, using food donated by local businesses as much as possible, including Fareshare (which allocates charities to Tesco stores), Greggs Great Yarmouth and Jack Vonde Meats Ltd.
It's a great chance to eat out on a budget and try out new recipes. It's also an opportunity to meet new people and find out what else is happening at the Priory - and, at just £2.50 for adults (£1.50 for children under 12) for a 2-course meal, it's great value.
The Community Lunch is held twice weekly at the Priory Centre on the following days:
Book by 12 noon on the preceding Thursday.
Book by 12 noon on the preceding Wednesday.
Places are limited to 20, so please book by the times given to secure a place.
Important: Please let us know of any allergies or special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Midweek Tasty Bites
Tasty snacks or 'light bites' are also served in the Priory Café on a Wednesday, including many old favourites, such as filled jacket potatoes, frittatas, pizzas and seasonal soups.
No booking required. Just drop in between 12.30pm and 2pm on a Wednesday!
