Friendship Club Decamps to Pleasurewood Hills
Members of the Priory Friendship Club enjoyed their annual summer outing in August. This time their destination was Pleasurewood Hills for a full day of thrills, scares and
sunshine (scroll down for photos). The more intrepid ventured onto lots of the rides, whilst others, like Joleen, the club leader, kept their feet firmly on the ground. At least everybody was able to watch the seal show, as they showed
off their skills and had fun, and some managed to see the parrot show, flying high and colourful.
A massive thank you to Pleasurewood Hills for offering reduced entry prices to the club and to Albies Taxis in Great Yarmouth, who gave us special rates for travel in their comfortable 8 seaters and taxis. Help from local organisations makes trips such as these more affordable for members, allowing them to enjoy new experiences that they would not usually be able to share.
The Priory Friendship Club relies on support and donations from local companies and community organisations. If you think you may be able to help - or if you are interested in coming along to the Friendship Club - please contact Joleen:
