Working in partnership to improve the lives of our local community
Opening Times: Monday to Friday, 9.30-10.30am
Priory Centre Reception, Priory Plain, Great Yarmouth, NR30 1NW
An exciting new project has been launched to give support to those struggling in the local community.
GYCT is working in partnership with high street bakery Gregg's in Great Yarmouth and Tesco Caister to provide essential produce to local people in need, particularly those who are homeless, elderly or unemployed. The range includes sandwiches and baguettes, pies and sausage rolls, pastries and cakes to take away, as well as fresh produce such as bread, fruit, vegetables and other groceries.
The Priory Pantry is run by a team of volunteers from the Priory Centre reception. All items are free of charge but customers may be asked if they are happy to give some basic information to help us measure the success of the project.
Donations are welcomed to help support the running of the project but are not essential. We would much rather people who need to access the service do so. Our volunteers will not ask you to make a donation.
