A Little Boost from Tesco

It already feels like a long time since Christmas, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to showcase the wonderful Christmas festivities enjoyed by both children and adults across the Trust, thanks to the special support of Tesco Great Yarmouth.

Christmas Celebrations
The store donated £1,000 to be distributed across Nurseries, Children's Centres, the Friendship Club and the Priory's popular Community Lunch. Members of the Friendship Club also received free tickets for the 'Lardal Kantori' Norwegian Christmas Carol Concert, a unique experience that they thoroughly enjoyed.

Parents and children also enjoyed a series of three Tesco Healthy Eating workshops, which shared some valuable healthy eating tips and nutritious recipes for the whole family.

We would like to thank Tesco GY for their generous support of the Trust, and their work with other local community organisations. Our thanks also to Tesco Caister for including the Trust in their Fare Share initiative. Not only do the donated groceries help us to keep prices low for our visitors at the Friendship Club and our popular Community Lunch, but members also benefit from being able to take away any left-over produce to enjoy at home.

Meanwhile, the Caister store has included the Trust in its Fare Share initiative, donating unsold food each week, which enables us to retain low prices for our community lunches and provide further refreshments for the Friendship Club.
